Yeast Infection Treatments
There are two types of yeast infections: overproduction and underproduction of yeast. Yeast infections can be caused by MANY things including an increased intake of fruit or sugar in your diet, using the wrong soap, illness, or taking antibiotics. Yeast infections can also be caused by having sex with a man who has recently been having intercourse with another woman.

To treat a yeast infection, first make sure you are off all antibiotics. Always treat a yeast infection as soon as you feel it coming on. Once you have had it for a day or two, you will have already been scratching and this will break the skin and cause treatments to burn.

1) Create a mild douche by mixing 1/2 cup of water with 1-2 drops of tea tree oil and one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (use white vinegar if you do not have ACV).

2) Live culture yogurts can be used to treat yeast infections. Eat one cup of live yogurt per day or take a capsule of acidophilus per day until the yeast infection is gone.

3) You can also apply live culture yogurt to the affected area. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of plain yogurt with one drop of tea tree oil. You can use the yogurt alone, but the tea tree helps. You can also add one drop of lavender essential oil to the mix. The lavender oil will soothe any burning sensation you may feel as a result of scratching and then using the tea tree.

4) My favorite cure is to use garlic. Remove a large piece off of a clove of garlic (about the size of a grape. Peel all of the skin from the clove being careful not to break or scratch the flesh inside the clove (it's okay if you do on accident). Insert the clove into your vagina and leave for 8-10 hours. This works for me almost immediately and I like to take it out before bedtime. In the morning, my infection is gone. The clove will not get lost inside of you. Just reach one finger inside and hook it around the clove and pull it out. Simple.
